About Maha Kumbh Mela

Kumbh Mela is a religious festival of Hindus and celebrated in India at four places Nasik, Ujjain, Haridwar and Allahabad. In (2013), the Kumbh Mela was held in Allahabad. The Kumbh Mela was also held here earlier in 2001, when about sixty millions pilgrims took the holy dip in this holy river and thousands witnessed the grand event. After a span of 12 years, the Great Kumbh is yet again back to the place where the festival is of great significance. The Allahabad Kumbh Mela was the largest congregation of pilgrims in the world.
