Nainital

Situated at an altitude of 1,938 surrounded by mountains like Naina, Deopatha and Ayarpatha. One can get a splendid view from the top of the mountains bounded by snow and forming a central axis of the Himalayas. It is one the most popular hill stations in India. The climate in Nainital is quiet pleasant and is temperate and mildly warm during summers and during winters, the temperature falls to zero. The place witnesses heavy snowfall during winters.

The place has lots to offer from boating, picnic and exploring the nature Nainital is divided into two regions and these places are separated by a lake. One of them is Tallital, a southern part of the lake and the other is Mallital, the northern upper side

At the altitude of 2270 m, Sher-Ka-Danda Ridge gives an amazing snow view of Naina Devi Peak. This is famously known as Mountain Magic. Places like Nanda Devi Temple, St. John Church etc are the charming attractions of Nainital. This place even gives you a glimpse of history. The Gurney House at Aryapatta Hill was the former house of Jim Corbett, which is now converted into a museum.

One can enjoy an excellent walk in-between the forests of thick oak, deodar and bamboos and can hear the birds singing. It is easily reached by train and the nearest station is Kathgodam. Nainital is also approachable by roadways and airways.
